The first is a drying lotion that is supposed to clear up whiteheads. The next product is a drying cream that is supposed to cover up blemishes while they are healing. The last product is a buffering lotion that is supposed to help fight acne before it even shows up. This sounds quite similar to the MarioBadescu Acne Control Kit that we reviewed earlier. Can this work to clear up your acne?

We didn’t like how all the lotions in Mario Badescu Acne Repair Kit were so drying. These are meant to dry out any oil to kill pimples. However, they will also dry out the rest of your skin. This is not going to help repair your skin. In order to repair it you would need nourishing lotions that can provide moisture without clogging pores. This product does not have any ingredients that can do that.

Conclusion

We don’t really recommend Mario Badescu Acne Repair Kit. It seems that all three of the products in the kit are meant to do the same thing. They are all meant to dry your skin in different ways. This is not going to help repair your skin, and may even cause more problems. If you are drying your skin too much then it will try to compensate by producing even more oil. This then leads to more acne, and you are stuck in a cycle. Look for products that can spot treat, but nourish the rest of the skin.
