PanOxyl is a bar of soap that supposedly is a keratolytic agent with antibacterial properties. It comes in several different forms including the bar soap actually, and it uses the active ingredient of 10% benzoyl peroxide. They claim that you can shortly get rid of acne and help yourself essentially speaking.

History of PanOxyl

PanOxyl is available throughout the United States. It has been used to treat mild to moderate acne, and they suggest you consult with your doctor or pharmacist before buying it. it should only be used cleansing the skin in general for 10-20 seconds, and the area around the eyes should be seriously avoided. You should also use a lotion.

Benefits

Significant results have of course been shown with benzoyl peroxide in general. It has been shown to kill bacteria, dry out oils, and essentially get rid of acne in various ways. The problem is always that everybody uses it, so why pay more here rather than paying less somewhere else. There is also the fact that it can make some cases of acne worse while causing various problems.

Possible Side Effects

Possible side effects of PanOxyl include drying, feeling of warmth, itching, irritation, mild peeling, redness, selling, rash, hives, dizziness, difficulty breathing, tightness in the chest, swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, excessive burning, tenderness of the skin, or extreme dryness. It may also bleach clothes.

Conclusion

We would not recommend using PanOxyl. It doesn’t have the right elements you are looking for, and it can be quite detrimental to the skin in general. It doesn’t help you to achieve anything good, and many have experienced problems in general with it. We would suggest staying far away from this product.
