Perricone MD Skincare Review

Perricone MD Skincare is an entire line of popular skincare products ranging from sunscreens to acne treatments to wrinkle treatments. For their acne line, they have an introductory collection which has a cleanser, toner, spot treatment, and moisturizer. They claim to be high class and high quality products with real promise.

History of Perricone MD Skincare

Perricone MD Skincare was designed and is now marketed by Dr Nicholas Perricone. He was featured on the Oprah show, and since then he has brought his concept of the top 10 superfoods to some products and developed skincare products as well. He assures many with his mere presence in the product.

Benefits

Unfortunately, all of his products are based entirely around the same few ingredients used by many others: benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, green tea, and aloe vera. These do work to some degree, but many who try his products are obviously hoping for something better and a little bit less standard to say the least. They have various reasons for choosing the Perricone name. But this line doesn’t fulfill any of those needs.

Possible Side Effects

Possible side effects of Perricone MD Skincare include drying, feeling of warmth, itching, irritation, mild peeling, redness, selling, rash, hives, dizziness, difficulty breathing, tightness in the chest, swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, excessive burning, tenderness of the skin, or extreme dryness.

Conclusion

We would not recommend using Perricone MD Skincare. It has a good name behind it, but obviously the product formulas did not follow. They use the same junk everybody else uses, and realistically in this market, it’s all about the bottom line for most companies. Perricone MD Skincare is no exception to this rule.
