Differin Reviews
Differin is among the first prescribed acne treatments among dermatologists. They claim that you can get the truth about acne and stop it before it works by working below the surface. It is a 0.1% gel that apparently unclogs pores and clears up acne.
History of Differin
June 19, 2007, the FDA approved Differin for use in the treatment of acne. It is produced by Galderma Laboratories LP, and then later on a 0.3% version was approved for topical treatment of acne vulgaris. They did this in part using a trial that included 653 patients with mild to moderate acne. Differin supposedly helps you to fight back.
Benefits
Differin can get rid of some cases of acne, starting at 8-12 weeks. However, we have heard of patients actually getting worse acne, and for some, it doesn’t actually get better. In every way, their main ingredient adapalene and other treatments in general cannot be effective for everyone. Everybody has differin skin types and otherwise. But adapalene appears to give fewer people effects.
Possible Side Effects
Adapalene is used in such a miniscule concentration for a reason. it has been known to cause severe drying, feeling of warmth, itching, irritation, mild peeling, redness, selling, rash, hives, dizziness, difficulty breathing, tightness in the chest, swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, excessive burning, tenderness of the skin, or extreme dryness.
Conclusion
We would not suggest using Differin. It takes 8-12 weeks that you should never have to wait realistically speaking, and it comes with quite a few side effects to say the least. It doesn’t have the effectiveness in general that we are looking for, and 8-12 weeks is just to see any results at all, not to clear your acne. We would suggest choosing something far better.
